Vicki Huck

DEPT: Special Education

Hello! My name is Vicki Huck, and I teach 8th grade special education at Crookston High School.  Classes I teach include Study Skills, Math and English.  As a special education teacher, I work with students to help them achieve their individualized academic and behavior goals.  I also do a lot of reteaching of concepts taught in classes and help students with homework as time allows.

I attended Minnesota State University, Moorhead way back when it was still Moorhead State University and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education.  I taught social studies until 2012, when I earned my Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of North Dakota.

This is my 20th year of teaching overall and my 13th year in Crookston.  In 2006, my husband and I moved our two preschool aged daughters to Crookston so I could teach at Crookston High School and we couldn’t be happier here.  We now have two daughters in high school and live on a couple acres just outside Crookston where we raise our giant dog, eight chickens and many many cats.

The best way to contact me is through email:  If this is not an option, please call the high school at 218-281-2144 and ask for me.
