Erin Drown

Hello Fantastic First Graders and Families!
This is my sixth year teaching first grade at Washington, and my seventh year teaching overall. I love teaching in Crookston, and I’m so lucky to be a part of our Washington School Family. I was born and raised in Roseau, MN.  I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University.  I am currently working on my Masters Degree at the University of North Dakota. I will graduate in December, hooray!  I have always known I wanted to be a teacher and I have a strong passion for education and learning. When I am not teaching or planning fun things for us to do at school...I enjoy reading, cooking, and spoiling my niece and nephew. I'm also a busy dog mom to Hazel, my Golden Retriever/Lab mix.  I love to spend time outside with my family and friends; either fishing, camping or just relaxing at the lake. I’m also a bit of a coffee addict, taco fan, and I love to watch sports; especially hockey and baseball. I love the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Twins!

I am very much looking forward to this school year and the opportunity to work with you and and your child.  I know we have a lot of learning and fun ahead of us. Please know our classroom door is always open to you, and I’m available if you have questions or concerns.  Call, email, or stop in anytime.
