K-12 Media Technology Mission Statement
The goal of media technology is to ensure that each child acquires skills necessary to become self-reliant, lifelong learners. Within the school, media technology is a major force, which helps the student develop these essential skills to meet national and state graduation requirements.

The Technology Committee has identified the following goals as top priority areas. All priorities are based on the district's commitment to effective student use of technology into the future. These priorities were developed and addressed in previous technology plans, but continue to be areas of concern because of the continuing growth of media technology and the need for media technology integration into the school day. The areas of staff support, staff development, puchase/repair/replacement and electronic security continue to be the cornerstones of District 593's Technology Plan.
