Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship

SME Education Foundation has awarded $18 million to over 5,000 students since 2005. Graduating high school seniors as well as students pursuing two-year, four-year or graduate degrees in manufacturing or engineering are eligible to apply for scholarships. In the past two years, the Foundation awarded a record number of scholarships to women and minorities as part of a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative.

ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarships
Scholarship Value: $10,000

Award Deadline: Feb 1, 2023
One $10,000 scholarship and up to three $5,000 runner-up scholarships are awarded each year to promising students, with priority given to students of underrepresented populations and/or with financial need. Geographic distribution of the applicant pool will also be considered. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents who are third, fourth, or fifth-year undergraduates in Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited programs of landscape architecture. Graduate students are not eligible for this award.

Army ROTC Scholarships
Scholarship Value: $200,000

Scholarships and other monetary support are available when you join Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), which allow you to focus on your education by relieving some of the financial pressure. You'll graduate with a respected and secure career path as an Army Officer, and with less debt for the school years your scholarship covers. You’re eligible to apply for a ROTC scholarship—which could get you up to 100% tuition coverage—if you’re a high school student enrolling in college, enrolled in college, or an active-duty enlisted Soldier. ROTC scholarship can cover either tuition and fees, or room and board, and each comes with money for living and books

McDonald's HACER National Scholarship

This year, McDonald’s is awarding up to 30 McDonald’s HACER National Scholarships, ranging from $5,000 to $100,000 to help students like you continue their educational growth. Applications will be reviewed by an independent selection committee that will take many things into consideration including but not limited to academic performance, community involvement, personal statements, and financial need.

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply to any of the scholarships offered through this program.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards
Scholarship Value: $4,000

Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Eligibility requirements are outlined below.
The 2023 contest and application closes on February 6, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
Eligibility

For the 2023 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2020, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2020, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2023. Great-grandchildren are not eligible.

The applicant must apply online only. The 2023 Legacy Awards application deadline is February 6, 2023, 11:59 pm Pacific Time.

If the applicant's parent and grandparent are both Elk members, the applicant must apply through the parent's Elks Lodge.

We have waived the standardized test requirement for the 2023 Legacy contest. You do not need to submit ACT and/or SAT scores.
Davidson Fellows Scholarships
Scholarship Value: $50,000

We award $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to gifted and high-achieving students, 18 years old or under, who have completed a significant piece of work.
Significant work is an accomplishment that experts in the field recognize as meaningful and has the potential to make a positive contribution to society. Such work may be:

Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, or a Permanent Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas due to active U. S. military duty.

Teams of two are eligible. Both team members must meet eligibility requirements.
Davidson Fellows must be available to attend, with one parent or guardian, the awards reception and other recognition events to be held in September in Washington, DC. (Travel expenses and lodging will be provided by the Institute.)
Scholarship For Journalism Diversity
Scholarship Value: $20,000

The Scholarship for Journalism Diversity Honoring Julie Schoo consists of a $5,000 one-year scholarship. The award can be renewed up to three years, for a total of $20,000 toward educational expenses. The purpose of the scholarship, named for the former executive director of the National Press Club Journalism institute, is to recruit promising future journalists who will bring diversity to American journalism.

Venus Morris Griffin Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship are chosen by Venus and her children. Scholarships are a valuable investment in our collective future and help develop promising future leaders. This scholarship is funded entirely by proceeds from Venus’ speaking engagements, and by donations from generous supporters and donors.

Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarships
Scholarship Value: $10,000

Award Deadline: Feb 20, 2023
The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or fowl. Vegans are vegetarians who do not use other animal products such as dairy or eggs.
One award of $10,000 and two awards of $5,000 will be given. Entries may only be sent by students graduating from high school in SPRING 2023.
We will accept applications postmarked on or before FEBRUARY 20, 2023. Early submission is encouraged.
Applicants will be judged on having shown compassion, courage, and a strong commitment to promoting a peaceful world through a vegetarian diet/lifestyle. Payment will be made to the student's college (U.S. based only). Winners of the scholarships give permission to release their names to the media. Applications and essays become property of The Vegetarian Resource Group. We may ask finalists for more information. Scholarship winners are contacted by e-mail or telephone.
Niche 2K No Essay College Scholarship

BMW Engineering Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by BMW AG in recognition of its commitment to excellence in engineering. BMW is world famous for designing and building luxury, high-performance passenger cars and motorcycles. The company is also a leader in developing and manufacturing high technology, high performance internal combustion engines.
Applicants must demonstrate active participation in extracurricular science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities that take place outside the classroom (such as in clubs or in association with other organizations).

Fred M. Young Sr. Engineering Scholarship

The Young Radiator Co. established this scholarship in memory of the company's founder, Fred M. Young Sr. who started the company in 1927 and saw it grow to become a major force in the field of heat transfer. He had a high regard for the value of engineering in terms of its contribution to the success of society and the future engineering workforce, which is supported through this scholarship.

Coast Guard Exchange Scholarship Program

Recognizing the value of education and the benefits it brings to the Coast Guard Family, the Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) Scholarship Program was established to provide additional financial resources to dependent children of Coast Guard personnel embarking on undergraduate college/university studies. Annually a $2,000 scholarship is awarded to the outstanding applicants on a one-time basis. The number of scholarships granted each year depends on available funding. Coast Guard Exchange System (CGX) Scholarship Program, CSCINST 1780 provides amplifying information on the program and application process.
Eligibility
The Program provides scholarship to students who are dependents of Coast Guard active duty, reserve, and military retired members, current civilian NAF and APF employees, and current Coast Guard Auxiliarists that meet the following eligibility requirements:
The applicant must be in the last year of high school or home schooling and scheduled to graduate and attend college full-time during the subsequent year. Those who have already graduated are not eligible to apply.
Students must plan to attend an accredited college or university for undergraduate studies. Scholarships will not be awarded for participation in nonacademic and/or certified programs. Students accepting appointments to USAFA, USNA, USMA, USCGA, or USMMA are not eligible.
Cappex Easy Money Scholarship

This scholarship is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and first semester senior students for all majors and schools. We will judge this scholarship based on other criteria such as volunteer work, extracurricular activities, special circumstances, etc.
Connex Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Value: $5,000

The purpose of the Connex Foundation Scholarship is to assist individuals who are exploring the study of skilled trades or multi-site facility management with the end goal of advancing their career in this field. The scholarship serves to promote the multi-site facilities industry by attracting high school, college-level, career transitioning, adult re-entry, and veteran students into the field of study and encouraging their pursuit with financial support.
2023 Scholarships
The Connex Foundation will award scholarships up to $5,000 each in 2023 to individuals pursuing a career in the skilled trades (example: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry), construction and/or facility management industry. The scholarships will be awarded to deserving Canadian individuals and deserving U.S. individuals.
The deadline to submit an application for consideration is March 12, 2023.

Simform STEM Scholarship
