The PTO provides assistance to teachers in classroom settings, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. The Parent Advisory Council is seeking a diverse group of parents to assist in program planning and decision-making at our school. Involved parents will be supported and empowered through advocacy skills as family engagement is strengthened. Community professionals will also be welcome to provide input and guidance. Meetings will be held at Washington School from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Please notify the office in advance if you plan to request care for your child during the meeting by calling 281-2762.
