- Model 1: In-Person Transition | District 593
Model 1: In-Person Transition January 27, 2021 We are excited to be transitioning into Model 1 next week. Grades 7-9 will return to full in-person learning on Monday, February 1st and grades 10-12 will remain in hybrid and return on February 16th. The attached calendar reflects these changes. As we transition to Model 1 we are trying to get an accurate picture of what our numbers will look like since distance learning remains an option. We understand that some families may choose to switch learning models. We are asking that ALL parents take a minute to fill out the survey below and confirm which Learning Model you are choosing for your child. In order to maintain predictable numbers students who are opting for distance learning will not be allowed to switch models until the beginning of 4th quarter (March 29th). Click Here: CHS Learning Model Survey Please fill the survey out by Friday, January 29 Attached you will also find a document that outlines what students can expect when they return to Model 1. While distancing in classrooms cannot be guaranteed, we will continue to socially distance as much as possible. Masks are still required and strictly enforced. Students will also continue to see restrictions at lunch and in the music classes. Please review the document for more details. As we transition into Model 1 we understand that students and families are going to have plenty of questions. Please do not hesitate to reach out over the next couple of days. Thank you for your continued support of Crookston Public Schools. Eric Bubna February Calendar Model 1 Transition Model 1 Transition Information 1/0 < Previous Next >
